PRINCIPLE AND BENEFITS

FIELD OF APPLICATION

Ease of use:
? Place 1 ml of the selected sample dilution onto the centre of the COMPACT DRY sample-ready plate (Picture 4).
? The specimen diffuses automatically and evenly into the entire plate surface without further handling: repeatability and reproducibility are in this manner optimised.
? The sample rehydrates the medium, making it gelify. Invert the COMPACT DRY plate for incubation.
Colonies appear coloured after incubation, which facilitates counting.
? Place a white paper under the plate for easier reading.
? 1 x 1 cm and 0.5 x 0.5 cm grids under the plate facilitate reading when many colours are present.
? Do not exceed 300 cfu / plate.
Excellent result correlation between COMPACT DRY plates and conventional methods.
Total medium surface available: 20 cm2.
Storage temperature: 5-30° C for 1 year
COMPACT DRY plates are small (7.6 x 5.7 x h. 0.7 cm): they can be stacked to save valuable storage, handling and incubation space.
Available in boxes of 40 or 240 COMPACT DRY, in 4 unit foil pouches.
