The sample to be analysed is filtered through a membrane

PROCEDURE:
Fitration of the water sample through a membrane (included with each NKS Peztri dish) on a filter.
- Membrane recovery.
- Membrane placed on the rehydrated nutrient pad (with 3-3.5 ml demineralised water, sterilised with a syringe and a Minisart).
- Incubation:
? Standard agar 48 h/30°C.
? Azide agar 24-48 h/37°C.
? Endo agar 24 h/37°C.
? Tergitol agar + TTC 20 h/37°C.

Simpler, faster and cheaper water analysis with the use of ready-to-use Petri dishes.
Sterile dehydrated culture media on absorbent pads, containing sterile, individually packed gridded membrane filters. Can be easily stored at ambient temperature (9-24 months depending on models).
SARTORIUS NKS KIT:
Sartorius microbiological analysis kit including:
- a 20 ml syringe.
- 25 Minisart 0.2µ for water sterilisation.
- 60 NKS Petri dishes with a dehydrated culture medium pad and a sterile gridded membrane 47 mm in diameter.
- 60 boîtes de Petri NKS, including:
? 10 Standard NKS Petri dishes for the detection of total bacteria.
? 10 Azide NKS Petri dishes for the detection of faecal streptococci
? 20 Endo NKS Petri dishes for the detection of E. Coli + coliforms
? 20 Tergitol + TTC NKS Petri dishes for the detection and possible differentiation of E. Coli + coliforms.
