Listeria Enrichment Broth (LEB) Base

For the detection of Listeria in dairy products.

Add agar to Listeria Enrichment Broth Base in order to obtain
the TSAYE medium.
The TSAYE is used for
the purification of presumptive Listeria strains
after isolation on Oxford
or Palcam agar.

Selectibe broth recommended in the official method for the detection of Listeria in dairy products.
Suspend 36 g/l.Autoclave for 15 minutes at 121°C. Cool to 45° C.
Supplement:
- After cooling, add to 500 ml of broth the contents of a Selective Supplement vial Merck 11781.

Incubation for 2 days at 30°C.
