Sodium citrate 2.0
Neutral red 0.033
Agar-agar 12.5-15.0
Final pH 7.1 ± 0.2 at 25°C
Lactose agar with added desoxycholate at
0.5 g/l for the detection and enumeration of coliforms.
Suspend 40-42.5 g/l. Boil for 2 minutes. Do not autoclave.
Incubation 18-24 h at 30 or 37°C.
