Final pH 7.4 ± 0.2 at 25°C
Mannitol agar with added sodium chloride and phenol red for the detection of staphylococci.
Suspend 108-111g/l. Autoclave 15 minutes at 120°C.
Incubate 24 and 48 h at 37°C.
