Inoculate by spreading the sample on the surface of the plates. After Incubation at 42°C/48 h, Pseudomonas aeruginosa colonies fluoresce under UV light.

N-cetyl-N,N,N-trimethylammonium bromide (cetrimide) 0.3
Agar-agar 13.0
Final pH: 7.2 ± 0.2


Enables the selective isolation and identification of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in diverse products.
PREPARATION
Suspend 44.5 g/litre, add 10 ml of glycerol p.a.
Autoclave at 121°C/15 min.
Pour plates.
