Brilliant green 0.0133
Final pH: 7.2 ± 0.2 at 25°C

Lactose brilliant green bile broth for the detection of coliforms.
Suspend 40 g/l. Dispense into test tubes fitted with Durham tubes. Autoclave at 120°C for 15 minutes.
Incubation: 24 and 48 h at 30°C for coliforms, 24 and 48 h at 44°C for faecal coliforms and Escherichia coli.
