DIRECTIONS
? For a 1000 ml package:
- Prepare 1000 ml of demineralised or distilled water for a 100 test dose.
- Suspend the powdered medium in the water, swirl to mix and allow to swell.
- Bring gently to the boil, stirring until completely dissolved.
- Cool to 47° C ± 2°C and keep the CHROMagar® E. coli 0157 Agar molten at this temperature.
? For a 5 litre package:
- Suspend 29 g/l demineralised water.
- Bring to the boil, stirring until completely dissolved, then proceed as above.
