PRESENTATION
Two packagings:
- Ready-to-use 100 ml bottle.
- Container with 500g dehydrated medium.
DIRECTIONS for the dehydrated medium:
- Suspend 37 g / litre distilled water.
- Heat up gently, strring frequently. Bring to the boil until complete dissolution.
- The medium is ready for use or may be autoclaved at 121° C for 15 min.
Final pH 7.2±0.2
Ready-to-use:
Storage: 2-8°Cin the dark.

The Rapid' E. coli 2 Agar is a selective medium for the direct detection and enumeration of E. coli in foodstuffs i.e. meat, vegetable, dairy products?
BENEFITS
SPECIFIC: unlike conventional media, the Rapid' E. coli 2 Agar differentiates E. coli (violet-coloured) from other coliforms (blue).
SIMPLE: techniques required are fast and widely-used. Colours are clearly identifiable and easy to interpret.
