In the above reaction PPDK regenerates ATP, which reacts again with the luciferase.
This reaction causes a longer and more intense light emission, measured by the LUMITESTER PD 10.
Additionally, this system eliminates time-dependent inter-individual variations.

SENSITIVITY (see diagram below)
The LUMITESTER PD-10 uses enzymatic amplification technology for optimisation of ATPmetry-generated signals.
This amplification increases significantly the analysis sensitivity by the reaction shown in the diagram below.
