Place the whole body of the LUCIPAC W
in the LUMITESTER
and press ?ENTER?.
Results are displayed within 10 s.

Shake the whole body several times so that all of the reagent
falls into the tube

Surface sampling is carried out with a ready-to-use swab (Lucipac W), which includes a dry swab, an ATP releasing agent and the Luciferin/Luciferase complex.
After surface swabbing, the swab is soaked in the releasing agent, and then in the Luciferin/Luciferase complex for a specific reaction time.
The swab is shaken and placed in the LUMITESTER PD-10 luminometer. The measurement appears on the LCD display afer a few seconds.
Results are expresssed in RLU (Relative Light Units) and as Cleanliness Level:
- A level: perfectly clean surface (considered as a very clean or disinfected surface).
- B level: doubtful.
- C level: dirty.

PRINCIPLE
ATP is a molecule characteristic of living organisms: all living cells use and produce ATP.
ATP detection denotes the presence of life traces or recently dead cells.
ATP in the presence of a Luciferin/Luciferase complex and a catalyst releases energy in the form of light.
The measurement of the amount of light released relates to the amount of ATP on the monitored surface, and indirectly to its level of cleanliness.
