RECOMMENDATIONS
Storage: at 10 to 20° C.
Disposal:
slides must be incinerated, autoclaved or soaked in disinfectant.
Incubation:
- Pseudomonas + Aspergillus slide
35°C / 24-48 h. for Pseudomonas,
then 20-25 °C / 24-48 h. for Aspergillus.
MEDIA COMPOSITION
Sabouraud + Chloramphenicol for Aspergillus.
Pseudomonas isolation for Pseudomonas.

THE CHALLENGE
Surface hygiene monitoring techniques are based on the recovery of the contaminants (bacteria, yeasts...) with contact slides which are then incubated.
