The following may be detected directly from the bag or bottle (picture 6):
1) microorganisms, using conventional methods:
- Total flora
- Coliforms
- E.coli
- Yeasts-moulds
- Salmonella
- Listeria monocytogenes?
2) ATP bioluminescence:
- total ATP, for surface hygiene and disinfection monitoring.

Conventional methods:
Detection of microorganisms (Salmonella, Listeria monocytogenes?)
ATP Luminiscence:
Detection of Total ATP
or Microbial ATP.

Soak the wipe with a suitable diluent

Tear the packaging open and drop the wipe on the surface to be analysed

The wipe may be transferred:
- into a Stomacher or Twirl?em sterile sampling bag,
- or into a sterile bottle or container.

Add the amount of diluent required according to the analysis:
- ATL® buffered peptone water,
- or Fraser,
- or ATL®Peptone salt
Using the sterile internal surface of the packaging, press the wipe against a 50 x 50 cm area of the sampled surface.

Hold the packaging as shown above
